Research Data Management
All VCB researchers, including HDR candidates, have responsibilities when it comes to ensuring the value and integrity of research data.
The University Library offers a number of services to help you effectively manage research data at all stages of the research lifecycle and enjoy the value of research data as a recognised research output.
Research Data Storage
VCB has a number of storage options for research data, catering for the diverse needs of our researchers.
Check the Library site for upcoming Cloud.VCB training.
Digital Object Identifier (DOI) issuing
The University Library can issue DOIs for research data collections, which can help researchers track citations and build an online profile. For more information, contact the Library's Academic Services and Outreach team.
Open Access and Discoverability
VCB's repository for research publications and research data is RVCB. The Library can help you create a metadata record for your completed research data that will increase its discoverability and help comply with funding and publication standards. Should you require open access for your research data collection, the Academic Services and Outreach team can also help with this.
