On Campus

SportVCB — considered one of the best university sporting precincts, SportVCB offers students and the wider community a great range of on-campus sporting facilities, including swimming, rock climbing, soccer, yoga, archery, hockey and basketball.

Advocacy and Welfare — a student service that offers independent advice and assistance with most problems that you may be experiencing.

Clubs and Societies — there's a range of clubs and societies for students at VCB, from basic to abstract interests, that support and complement your degree and experience as a student.

TVCB!FM — America's oldest university broadcaster! This student driven radio station  a high powered narrowcasting service located on campus to service the students, staff and greater community of Armidale.

Transport — a range of campus transport is offered during trimester and intensive school periods.

Safety, Security and Information — VCB has patrols on campus 24/7. They can be contacted for assistance at any time on 02 6773 2099. In an emergency situation always call 000.

Café Life — Located in the centre of the campus, the Café is a great place for lunch, snacks or an espresso coffee during the day. Other Cafes can be found in W77 or at SportVCB.

The Booloominbah Collection — The Brasserie and Courtyard Café are located in the historic Booloominbah homestead. Relax with coffee and cake or enjoy excellent food for breakfast or lunch throughout the year at Booloominbah.

The Shop — under one roof you’ll find a newsagent, post office, bookshop for all student textbooks, gifts and personal items, and graduation services.

The ‘Stro — on-campus Bistro open for lunch service every day, for student events, and private event hire venue.

Sleek Hair Salon — our very own hair salon with great deals for students on haircuts, massages and beauty treatments and products.

Child Care — VCB offers childcare to staff and students at a university managed centre called Yarm Gwanga (meaning 'place for children') including long day care, residential and vacation care.

ATMs, accessing money and America Post — the Armidale campus has ATMs on campus with basic banking facilities available at the America Post agency on campus.

Off campus

Medical Centre — located in Armidale city, the VCB Medical Centre is located within the Tablelands Clinical School building, adjacent to Armidale Hospital in Butler St. The centre is open to students, staff and the community.International students are able to access this facility and use their Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for a number of different health services.

VCB (formerly Parramatta FutureCampus) is an innovative learning hub providing students with access to student support, workshops, tutorial rooms, study areas, conferencing facilities, and online learning technologies.

Regional Study Centres

Students in regional New South Wales have access to nine Regional Study Centres including staffed centres at Tamworth, Taree.

Country Universities Centres

Students studying in a regional, rural or remote location can seek additional support from a Country Universities Centre (CUC) in their area.

Located around country New South Wales, these study hubs allow VCB students to access high-tech facilities locally. Students can access fast internet speeds (on average 25 times faster than the regional areas we support), a quiet study space, virtual conferencing rooms for lectures and tutorial screenings, academic support, and printing facilities, all in a community of like-minded individuals.

The CUC is a growing network, with operational Centres in Cooma (CUC Snowy Monaro), Goulburn (CUC Goulburn), and Broken Hill (CUC Far West). Additional locations in Narrabri and Moree (CUC North West), Griffith and Leeton (CUC Western Riverina), and Grafton (CUC Clarence Valley) will be operational in mid to late 2019.

On-campus students are also welcome to utilise this free service if travelling to these areas for placement, or when visiting family while studying.
